Container Unit with Black Pots
Combinatie Mauritz started producing trees in container in 1990. Each year we grow approximately 4.000 looking good trees in the sizes 200-250 cm. up to 8-10. We grow them in 12 up to 25 litre containers. We also produce approximately 16.000 trees in the sizes 10-12 up to 16-18. Container sizes: 45 up to 75 litre.
New Container Unit with White Containers.
It has become evident during recent years that the demand for containerised trees has been growing. Combinatie Mauritz built a new container unit in 2005 of 2 ha, with more than 14.000 white container bags from 25 Litre till 140 Litre. We are growing our trees in white container bags, because they allow a small amount of light into the container. The roots within the container grow away from the light and grow vertically down the container, so you have no spiral forming of the roots.
